  • Search for sand dollars - head to the last beach access before the river, about a quarter mile away, and you'll discover the richest depository of unbroken sand dollars on the entire coast.

  • Feed the Seals. Seaside's seals have been entertaining visitors for over 70 years at the Seaside Aquarium. Each of the seals has developed its own splashy or noisy routine to encourage you to toss a bit of chopped fish its direction.

  • Take a photo at the End of the Trail Monument. The turnaround at Seaside, is designed as the official end of the Lewis and Clark Trial. Here you will see a bronze statue of Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and Seaman (Lewis' Newfoundland dog) which was installed facing the ocean at the west end of Broadway at the Turnaround on the center of the Prom.
