Morning guided sightseeing and orientation, including headset, takes you to Rome’s religious and cultural highlights. Visit the VATICAN MUSEUMS and SISTINE CHAPEL, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling paintings and The Last Judgment; ST. PETER’S SQUARE and BASILICA, which has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world; the COLOSSEUM; and the ROMAN FORUM. (Breakfast)

Day 4 Rome-Sicily
Travel by air on selected flights to Catania, on the island of Sicily, then transfer to your hotel in beautiful Giardini Naxos. (Breakfast)

Morning guided sightseeing and orientation of picturesque Taormina, perched on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea. See Piazza Sant’Antonio, Badia Vecchia fortress, the 13th-century gothic cathedral, Piazza IX Aprile with the Clock Tower, and churches of San Giuseppe and Sant’Agostino. Visit the breathtaking GREEK-ROMAN THEATER, remarkable for its preservation and panoramic views. (Breakfast)
