Back in 1793, a group of whalers places a wood barrel on Floreana Island and deemed it a “post office.” Ever since then, the site, now called Post Office Bay, has been used as an official post office. On this vacation, visit Post Office Bay and bring a few post cards of your own to drop in the barrel. But make sure and sift through the cards and letters in the barrel to see if you can find any with addresses near your home that you can hand deliver. This is, after all, how the mail here gets delivered!
