See the Old Jewish cemetery, established in the first half of the 15th century, which is one of the most important historic sites in Prague's Jewish Town. The oldest tombstone, which marks the grave of the poet and scholar Avigdor Karo, dates from the year 1439. The Old-New Synagogue was built in early Gothic style around the middle of the 13th century and was originally called the "New" or "Large" Synagogue. You will also see the Maisel, Spanish and Pinkas Synagogues and the Old Jewish Town Hall.

Later see the Strahov Monastery at Hradeany and the church of the Ascension of the Virgin where Mozart improvised on the organ the day of Don Giovanni's premier. The Castle of Prague

It surrounds three castle courtyards and covers 45 hectares. It is home to the Crown Jewels of the Czech kings. Visit St. Vitus cathedral and the Old Royal Palace. Learn the history of the Castle and St. George's Basilica, and enjoy a walk along the Golden Lane, the street full of small houses built in Mannerism style at the end of the 16th century. View Daliborka Tower, formerly a famous prison originally built for the nobility. It earned its name after Dalibor of Kozojedy - its first inmate.
