Another benefit of booking your Monograms vacation air-inclusive is that the transfers to and from the airport to your start and end hotels are included.

Airport Transfers

If you have purchased an air-inclusive vacation (on published dates), arrival and departure transfers are included. When you touch down in your destination, we’ll get you to your hotel; then, at the end of your vacation, we’ll make sure to get you to the airport for your return flight home. If you reserve a land-only Monograms vacation, you can still purchase arrival and departure transfers. Transfers are by scheduled shuttle, minivan, private cars, or taxi.

Heading Out to Sea?

Monograms now offers transfers from hotel to port. Transfers are available from the vacation end hotel in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Rome or Venice starting at $35 per person. Transfers are also available in Sydney, Auckland, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Santiago from the vacation end hotel to the port. Our Air-Inclusive Prices Provide Exceptional Value
Because of our longstanding relationships with major air carriers, our air-inclusive prices provide exceptional value. These prices are considerably lower than what you would pay if you booked your land arrangements and unrestricted air transportation separately.

Monograms air options: Flex-Air and Instant Purchase Air. Flex-Air allows flexibility if you want to make changes to your vacation schedule. Instant Purchase Air may offer additional airline options but has more restrictions. Some vacations may only offer one Air type option. In most cases, you’ll be offered a choice of carriers and flight schedules as well as price points to choose from when selecting your flights. Your schedule will be provided to you at the time of booking (schedules are subject to change by carriers). Monograms monitors airline schedule changes as received and processes in departure date order. Air Inclusive price quotes will include all government-imposed taxes and fees applicable at the time of booking and will be shown as a Total Amount. (Please see “Applicable Airfare Taxes & Fees” section that follows). We offer low airfares for all of the destinations in this brochure from cities across the U.S. Call our Travel Consultants for information. Ask about Premium Economy and Business Class upgrades.

Your eTicket receipt is published within your travel documents and will be sent two to three weeks prior to vacation departure. Based on availability, a service charge per reservation will be added for documents requested in advance, early air ticketing, and/or for 2 day delivery or for delivery to multiple addresses. For late bookings, travel documents, including the eTicket receipt, are sent after final payment is received. Special service requests such as special meals may be done by your Travel Agent directly with the air carrier.

Please retain your ticket copy and boarding passes in the event you need them later for proof of your flights (to accumulate frequent flyer miles, for example). We are unable to supply ticket copies after your return. Some fare types may restrict or only allow partial mileage account accrual.

Guaranteed Air-Inclusive Prices
Air is only available to passengers traveling from the United States and only available when booked in conjunction with a land vacation. An additional non-refundable $300 air deposit is required for Flex Air booked in conjunction with any land vacation (i.e. air-inclusive vacation). Air can only be booked by Globus in conjunction with a vacation package. Instant Purchase Air requires air payment in full at time of booking (i.e. air-inclusive vacation) plus non-refundable per person service fee ($30 for North/Central America, $50 for Europe/Middle East, $80 all other destinations). Once booked, Instant Purchase Air is non-refundable, and non-changeable. Some vacations may only offer one Air type option. However, once your airfare is confirmed and Globus has received your full air and land deposit, your air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed.

Monograms reserves the right to ticket passengers upon receipt of full land and air deposit thus any subsequent changes and/or revisions to airline reservations at your request after receipt of full land and air deposit are subject to revision fees and/or airline imposed change or cancellation fees. Generally, these fees are up to $300 but in some instances may be up to 100% of the ticketed price. Please ask if any such charges apply before making changes, as all changes at your request are payable by you.

We Also Accept Your Reservation on a Land-Only Basis
Although our air-inclusive pricing offers superb value, we still want to give you freedom of choice. You may purchase our vacation packages on a land-only basis.

Free Airport Transfers
When you book your Monograms vacation air-inclusive, the transfers from the airport to your start hotel and from your end hotel to the airport are included. Details are as follows:

Air-inclusive on published dates:

  • Europe, South America, Asia, South Pacific, and Africa – Transfers are included

    Air-inclusive on non-published dates:

    • Europe – Transfers are available for purchase when you book extra nights with Monograms before or after your vacation
    • Asia, South America, South Pacific, and Africa – Transfers are included

      Land-only clients who make their own air arrangements on regularly scheduled direct flights (but not chartered flights) may also purchase arrival and departure transfers.

      Flight details should be sent apart from other correspondence or payment and must be received no later than five weeks prior to departure.

      Transfers will be provided only if confirmed by Monograms. Look for confirmation of your transfer in the travel documents.

      Business class and/or Premium Economy upgrades may be available for purchase. Please inquire with your Travel Agent at the time of booking for applicable price quotes. NOTE: U.S. connection flights and intra-vacation flights typically do not have upgraded cabins available in conjunction with international upgraded service.

      Taxes & Fees
      Taxes and fees are subject to change and are not guaranteed until land and air deposit are received.

      Applicable Airfare Taxes & Fees
      Air-inclusive vacations include government-imposed taxes and fees applicable at the time of booking and will be shown as a Total Amount. Additional airline fees for baggage may apply. Please refer to our website or carrier websites for current baggage pricing information. For return travel from some countries, international travelers are required to pay entry and/or exit fees at the airport. These fees will be collected by the local government and are payable by the traveler at time of travel. Your confirmation booking information will contain information about these fees.

      Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Requirements
      Due to increased travel security around the world, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires airlines to collect this information in accordance with the Secure Flight Program enacted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. If the name on the airline reservation does not exactly match the full name as it appears on their government-issued ID the passenger plans to use when traveling, you may not be allowed to board the plane. It is also important that this information be provided correctly at the time of booking, as any changes to your air booking, which include spelling, could be subject to a change fee, penalties, higher fares, new schedule, and/or cancellation. TSA information is required within 10 days of booking air with Monograms.

      Passenger Contact Information
      The International Air Transport Association (IATA) requires that air passengers provide their contact details (mobile number and/or email) to the airlines providing flight services. This information is used solely by the airline to help contact the passenger in the event of irregular flight operations and disruptions. Globus customers will be asked to provide these details at the time of booking, but can also provide any time up to the day prior to departure. If a customer does not wish to provide this information it will be noted in the air reservation, however the passenger may not receive information from the airline relating to flight cancellation or schedule changes (including delay in departure).
