Meet a Local Host® in Coaral Coast

Bula! I’m Eroni and look forward to welcoming you to Fiji. I began in the tourism industry over 20 years ago and have held various positions in public relations and hospitality. My motto is “Everyone is family!” and I believe that it is important to go the extra mile for others. Fiji has so much to offer from amazing snorkeling and diving, fresh seafood and fruits, world-class golf and spas, and of course, the incredible people that call this part of the world home. From the first time you hear “Bula,” you will know the rest of your trip will be one to remember.

Kula Wild Adventure Park

Spend the day exploring the park, a combination nature preserve and eco-tourism destination. Take a nature walk through the forest on elevated boardwalks, hand feed sea turtles, and get your photo taken with the resident iguanas. Or, you may wish to pump up the adrenaline with a zip line or water slide ride. There’s even a café where you can enjoy a snack or a cool drink.

Visit Fiji’s Capital City

Discover the sights of Suva, Fiji’s capital city, on a day trip that introduces you to cultural sites and provides time to shop at the local flea market. See landmarks such as Parliament House and the President’s House and visit the Fiji Museum to see displays of archaeological artifacts, jewelry, instruments, and more.

Go Beaching at Natadola Beach

One of the top-rated beaches in Fiji is located on the Coral Coast. With beautiful white sand and turquoise waters, the beach is sure to lure you in for the day. All the typical beach activities can be done here. There are a couple of resorts nearby if you’re looking to get some drinks or a bite to eat.

Go Scuba Diving or Snorkeling

It’s called the Coral Coast for a reason. Either hire some snorkel or scuba gear from one of the local shops or your resort or join a tour to get to all the best spots. Tours will take you by boat to some of the outer reefs where you’ll discover some breathtaking underwater scenery and tropical fish.

Discover Naihehe Caves

This hidden gem on the Coral Coast is one that few get to discover but once you make the effort to get to these majestic limestone caves, you’ll realize it was well worth the journey. Take a 4WD tour to get to the caves – the road and rivers to get to the caves are an experience in themselves. Your guide will explain the Fijian history of these caves and there will also be the opportunity to enjoy some cave swimming too.

Visit the Namana Art Gallery

This art gallery is not only a great place to browse but it’s also a place to get crafty yourself. Join local artists and learn about Fijian art through the Namana Art Gallery workshops. The art gallery is also a great place to pick up authentic souvenirs for family, friends, and yourself.

Meet a Local Host® in Sydney

Hi, I'm Vic. With 25 years as a Tour Director, I love presenting the beauty of Australia to visitors from all over the world. I enjoy helping Monograms guests create long-lasting memories. One of my favorite recommendations is a visit to the Rocks to learn about Sydney's early history. I love sharing my local knowledge, from its small (and interesting) beginings to the bustling city it has grown into.

Manly Beach

Catch the ferry from Circular Quay to this iconic Sydney beach. Stroll through the corso while enjoying an ice-cream or treat yourself to a beer at the Hotel Steyne overlooking the ocean. You may wish to walk along the beachfront to Little Manly Beach.

Walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Enjoy spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and the city surrounds as you take an easy stroll across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and back.

Queen Victoria Building and Strand Arcade

These shopping arcades are both architectural beauties in their own right. Even if you aren’t interested in shopping, they are worth a glimpse.

Clifftop Coastal Walk

This walk hugs the coastline from Bondi to Coogee and is 6 kms in length. Walk all or part of it for amazing views and perhaps stop for a swim at one of the beaches along the way.

Altmann & Cherny Opal Store

Located on Pitt St. at Circular Quay, this family-owned and operated business offers an impressive range of opal jewelry.

Paddy’s Market

If you want to bring home inexpensive, kitschy souvenirs, this Chinatown market is the place. Kangaroo oven mitts and Opera House shot glasses abound.
Note: Paddy's Market is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Museum of Contemporary Art

Stroll the MCA and experience the work of today’s artists from across Australia and around the world on your own or take part in one of the free daily guided tours. Getting hungry? Stop at the MCA Cafe on Level 4 for spectacular harbor views, site-specific art and a fresh daily menu. On Wednesdays, make sure to check out their contemporary art after dark when the galleries, cafe, and store are all open until 9 pm.

Sydney Opera Bar

Found at the water’s edge of the Sydney Harbour and base of the famous Sydney Opera House, the Opera Bar promises an experience to remember. Toast to unforgettable views, new friends and new experiences in the afternoon sun.

Explore The Rocks

Get a sense of Sydney's past exploring The Rocks' cobbled laneways, cozy cafés and oldest pubs in the country. Major highlights within this area are: Sydney Observatory, Argyle Gallery, Cadman's Cottage, Sydney Theatre Company, Lord Nelson Brewery, and The Rocks Markets where Sydneysiders flock to on Fridays and over the weekend.

Island hopping on Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour Islands Fort Denison, Shark, Clark, Rodd, Goat, and Cockatoo are among some of Sydney's most popular natural attractions. Catch one of the regular ferry services from Circular Quay during summer and take in the sparkling scenery.

Thai Town

Thai Town, located in Haymarket on Campbell Street bordering Chinatown, is a neighborhood in Sydney with a Thai theme. While not as elaborate as Sydney's Chinatown, it has quickly become to best place to go in Sydney for great Thai Restaurants as well as Thai grocery stores.
